My Style

My style tends to be simplistic, uncluttered, light, clean, and minimalist. I have always liked pieces that utilize more pastel-y colors with plain backgrounds. I try to stick to these principles when designing projects, though I sometimes drift away from them, causing me to be unhappy with my final project. Overall though, I do like to create clear pieces with minimal clutter.

Frutiger

In the 1977, Adrian Frutiger was given the task of creating a clear font to be used in the new Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris—and thus, Frutiger was born. After customers began to inquire about the font, Frutiger expanded his collection to include fonts like Frutiger Next. The family is still growing; Neue Frutiger was created in 2009. The font can be described as crisp, clean, sharp, timeless, and charismatic.

Old Work

This was probably my favorite piece from last year; it is a violin made out of the word “music.” This project is what got me really interested in typography as a whole.

Old Work

In this project, i made a replica of my face using the pen tool in Illustrator. I liked the fact that it did turn out looking like me, despite some flaws and inaccuracies.

Old Work

Last year, we made a piece in the style of Andy Warhol’s Popart. This was one of my favorite projects, and I loved the final result.

My Style

My design style tends to utilize more neat and clean elements as opposed to fun fonts and graphics. I like for things like posters to be able to be easy to read and straight to the point, not cluttered with different types of pictures.
